At The Driving Force School of Motoring, we want you get you on the road as quickly as possible, but not before you have learned all the skills required to be a safe and intelligent driver.
We take pride in the calm, patient support that we provide our learner drivers with, so that you feel comfortable to ask questions and acquire skills quickly. Our pass rates are also well above both local and national averages too - so whether you are driving for the very first time, or wish to have refresher lessons, let us get you on the road!
Your driving instructor...
Gareth has spent his entire working life in the world of education. First as a teacher and now as a driving instructor.
Being 'time-served' in education means that he will ensure your lessons will be carefully planned, progressive and take full account of all the needs you have on your driving development. He will also provide you with the support needed to pass the theory test, hazard perception test and the main driving standards test.
Whether you are confident, nervous or anywhere in-between, you can be sure that you be supported throughout your learning journey in a relaxed environment.

The car you will be driving...
You will be learning to drive in a 2026 model Hyundai i10 N-Line. A car that is easy to drive, yet sporty, great fun to drive and feature packed. It contains all the features you would wish for when learning to drive, including:
