Services Offered by The Driving Force School of Motoring
So you want to know a little more about what 'The Driving Force' School of Motoring can offer? You've come to the right place!
Flexible Lesson Times
Life is busy, so we offer lesson times that are designed to work around you. Early morning, evening and weekend lessons can be booked, subject to availability and at no extra charge.
Why not save time (and money) by timing your commute with a driving lesson? Lessons can start and finish at college, university, work or home upon request*.
(*Restrictions on distance apply)
Motorway Lessons
Unlike many instructors, we provide motorway tuition as part of your normal lessons. Once you have passed, we also offer further more extensive motorway driving lessons.
As part of motorway lessons, we will show you how to overtake safely, spot common mistakes made by drivers and how to avoid them yourself, build your confidence when driving at speed and refresh your knowledge of motorway specific signage and emergency procedures.
It's not as scary as you think...
A Full Learning Experience
We want you to be the very best driver you can be. As part of your lessons, we offer support with a range of motoring tasks and experiences.
Examples include, but not limited to:
- Night time driving
- 'Rush hour' driving
- Country road driving
- Maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, checking tyre pressures, refueling & refilling windscreen wash
- Using a drive-thru
- Teaching additional driving skills, such as turning in the road & reversing round corners.
Once 'up to speed', it's also fine to run errands as part of lessons if wanted. Just say and if it's possible, we can make it happen.
Support for Tests
Part of every lesson involves elements of preparation for the theory test, hazard perception test and the driving standards test, so that you are as prepared as possible for each one. We'll also show you the basics of car maintenance if this is desired.
Although we can't book tests for you, we can provide the support to do this, where requested.
With expert knoweldge of the Chorley and Preston Driving Tests Centres, we'll be able to get you familiar with all the roads that will matter!
